I am having a similar problem to David Haycraft with a Mapbasic appliction

It is a fairly intensive application, creating a MapInfo grid file based on
the proportion of a layer which covers each pixel, but that should not mean

Thinking about buying MapX and creating third party software with it.

Hi
We have a 5metre grid of xyz cordinates over our municipality and I was
wondering what is it possible way to automatically create watershed
boundaries? We have fairly steep and undulating terrain, could this be
done via eg vertical mapper?
Will summarise results.

Alas, as Bill points out, the strict technical issues are probably the least
important ones in this discussion.
To the people who will ultimately decide the matter "who is close by or what
percentage is rich or poor, what color they are" is virtually the *only*
material issue. In the end, the who
Mike,
The essence of gerrymandering is in Bill's question,

do you draw it so that each region in that area is
represented by a mix?"

Anyone have any tips on how best to use compiled hypertext help

I may have underestimated the time some, but it should and would not take

Tim,
If you are using MI Pro 6.0, try using the Enclose feature to create your
regions. This may work easier and better than your manual digitizing
method, and may prevent the problems that you are finding.

Hey Listers,
I exported some shape files in NAD83 State Plane Coordinates (CA Zone V) and
sent them to another consultant who uses ArcView. They want to use the files
in lat/long coordinates, but are telling me that ArcView has no way of
reprojecting files from State Plane to Lat/Long. They want
Can someone possibly tell me the steps one must undertake to assign a

Not only that, but think of all the law suits generated after the lines are
