Tony,
The boundary select button can make a selection as you have described simply and
easily.
You can then save the selection as another table if required and then use SQL
select for any sub-selections

Hi all,
has anyone got a map basic program/script which allows the user to identify
the hight, width and position of one map window and be able to apply it to
another? I'm not interested in matching data displayed in windows - just the
map window dimensions. I know I could clone the view but that

Hi Steve
We've been doing something similar for years. We had a custom mapbasic
progrm developed which works on one line segment for each symbol, and
will place the correct geological symbol at the centre point of the
original line, in the correct orientation, with the strike attributed in

I have some geological maps which have been imported into

comprised of line segments. Has anyone developed a tool that would
automatically enter the strike of the symbols in the browser?

anyone know of a way to keep the DOS window from appearing?
Will Sum.
Thanks,
