How does one add an attribute to an item in a newly added feature?
I have a table to which I added 7 Circles (all are supposed to be on top of one

Try using Polyline Split on the Objects menu.
Select the polyline, Set Target On
Draw a polyline that cuts across the targeted polyline (you may want to use object

Brandi,
Yes you can do it.
1) Add the polygon(s) to your table.
2) Select the new polygon(s).
3) Save the selection as a new table (call it Temp.TAB).
4) Invert select from your original table (this will select all the polygons

5) Append the selected rows

Thank you
David,
You can create points for a table with just a single line of code.
Try This
Update sNewTabName Set obj = CreatePoint(sLongColumn, sLatColumn)

Let's assume your column names are Col_5_Num, Col_2_Num and Col_7_Num
First be sure all your columns are defined as a characters.
Use the Table Update command.
Column to update: Col_7_Num
Value: Col_5_Num Col_2_Num

Travis,
You have to load a tool from the Tool Manager.
Under the Tools menu select Tool Manager.
From the list check Legend Manager.
Create your thematic map and legend.
Now when you go to the tools menu you will see an item called Thematic
Legend Manager.
Under that menu choice you will see

I am sure I am missing something very simple here.

Tessa,
We use the network version of MapInfo at Pioneer. The network license is
sold in groups of three. A single three-pack allows up to 3 simultaneous
users. We have many users but most are just occasional. Therefore, having
several 3-packs saves us quite a bit on licensing. For our heavy
