Hi Soren
Map Info does not want And if you are selecting from one field, but it rather wants
Or. So simple run the same query and put Or instead of And.

open your original table with polygons and overlay the converted
point table. Your points will be on the centre of the polygons.
Hope this helps.

I previously had some problems with UT. But I learned that I did not specify the
correct projection when converting / translating data. Make sure that you have
specified the correct projection for your area or country.

Hi.
I have very simple question.
Is there any utility to make unlimited uno in Mapinfo professional?
Unlimited Undo and Redo would be nice since may only want to undo the last steps only
and keep all the changes made.

The 'Edit' 'Undo' facility is very limited. However, you can use the
'File' 'Revert Table' menu option to discard all your
Hi Patrick
The translator from SHP to MapInfo works perfect, but I have a problem with it,
because it removes Tool unctionality from MApInfo and replaces by your Tools
functionality. Meaning I'm no longer able to use the other functionalities on MapInfo
Tools dropdown.
Will you fix this. I
(that would be the
_Access file you have saved as .mbd). Remember, you will be opening this file from
MapInfo, but the type would be .mdb.
I hope this will address your problems.

Hi All
This will be answered probably by the database experts, however it's not a difficult
one. I have been assigned in my work to research on ways to develop all the national
health datasets and create a central inventory or repository for this datasets for all
9 provinces in the country.
I have a table that I wanted to do a similiar thing to what Andrew Tracey wanted to do.
Please see the attachment to see what I did:
Select Columns: Province, Type, Count(Sub_Type) 5
From Tables:National_Health_Facility_List_
Where Condition:
Group By Columns: Sub_Type
.

Subject: Re: MI-L SQL Query
I have a table that I
only the top 20 records in the output (i.e. after the
group by), then the answer is no. MapInfo SQL doesn't handle that in a
single step. With 2 steps you can do something similar to what I have
written above.
Kind regards

Hi
Does anybody know if it is possible to open/convert ESRI's shape files into MapInfo
files. I have files which I need to open/convert from shape to MapInfo files. I am
currently using 6.5 version of MapInfo.
