Hi Listers,
Is there anyone who knows how to add space between two radiogroup

My goal is to write text between two buttons.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Christophe,
If you have MapBasic v.8 you can use this function :
ObjectDistance() : ObjectDistance(object1, object2, unit_name)
Or this statement:
Nearest : Nearest [N | ALL] From { Table fromtable | Variable fromvar }

Thanks a lot to all who respond to my query.
As I though, reformatting city names is still an annoying task with a lot of
exception to handle.
I'll give a try to Terry's function and will try to update it for some
exceptions.

Hi,
I would like to reformat city names that are capitalized such as:
SAINT-GEORGES-DE-CACOUNA into a proper format such as: Saint-Georges-de-Cacouna.
When using the function Proper$ in an update statement, I get:
Saint-georges-de-cacouna, which is not good to me.

Philip, Uffe,
I've experienced the same problem often and I saw the streaking lines on the
paper too.
This is very annoying. I tested with many printing configuration, DPI, etc...
with no success.

Hi,
I wonder if there is a maximum number of columns we can use in the Order By
clause in an SQL Query.
When I run this query :

, V0_POP2001 , Indice_agrege , Indice_final , POND_score , POND_poids ,

We have been able to duplicate this problem in house and a bug will be filled.
I suspect that the issue will be resolved in the first patch or maintenance
release for MI Pro v8.0.
Basically, all of our fonts are created by a third
Hi Ian,
There are few ones in the Directions Mag file library here :
http://www.directionsmag.com/files/index.php/view/588
There is one of them even called FindNearestObject.MBX
But I believe version 8 of MapInfo is doing it now.
Cheers !

Hi Listers,
Before writing my own program, I would like to know if one of you already has

That would be useful in a case where I want to validate the quality of an
