I am looking for a recommendation on a portable minidisc player/recorder.
Had my eyes on an MZ-R50 but I can't find one anywhere. Are there any other
portables around that are comparable in features to the MZ-R50? I am particularly
fond of the "editing wheel" on the MZ-R50/ Appreciate your comm

I was in the Renfrew branch of Makro (UK cash & carry) at the weekend, and
they had an excellent selection of blank MDs.
Sony premium 74 min discs were on special at £11.99 + VAT for 10 including a
storage box. They also had TDK 'reference grade' MD-RXG 80 min discs for
£14.99 + VAT
I'm thoroughly please with my R-55, except for the lack of digital output
(don't know of any portables that have this feature) I cannot think of
anything I would change - the quality of live recorded sound is excellent.

I couldn't find anything cheaper than carmedia myself, but I've heard of

Has anyone here tried to download the Media Face II software from Neato? I
had the old version and only assumed the new must be better. After the
uninstall of old, new would not install. Any one else had any problems with
