I just ordered a Sharp MD722 from Mercata.com. Although there is a tax column in the invoice that was sent to me, the tax amount was listed as 0.00. New Mexico does have a sales tax, but, like every online merchant that I have purchased from, no tax was charged. Aaron Prager -Original

I have an MZR90. I used it to record a concert. While playing back the concert, at about 3/4 through, the minidisc seems to pause for no reason for about 5-10 seconds then starts playing again. Is the minidisc defective? They were sony's so I figured they were good quality, but who knows.

Doesn't sound like I will try out the MDLP junk. I would rather see them come up with some form MP3 decoding built into mini-disk players as previously stated. I used to hope for something like that, too. Something like a Diamond Rio, but using a MiniDisc as its storage medium? That'd kick

Well, I don't have anything against the 80 minute mini-disks, its just that to me 74 vs. 80 minutes is maybe one more song. I have a system as explained earlier where I copy my collections onto CD before cutting to mini-disks and my CD-R doesn't handle 80 minute CD-Rs so it isn't worth buying a
