Well I mainly bought my MD player/recorder (Sony MZ-R900DPC) for use when
walking to work, but I end up listening to it a lot more than I thought I
would. I do programming for a living, and I find with a real good
electronica/trance compilation going I can get into a hell of a groove,
zoning
Actually I'm using it less and less. And I rarely title anymore.I recently
got a DVD/MP3 combo for my birthday and just popping one cd-r with 7-8
complete albums is so great. When I'm behind my PC I usually play something
from my 10+ GB MP3-collection. The only times I still use it is when
Hah, yeah really. You're way too mellow to care as much.

My Sony ZS-M1 just went belly up on me last week. (There was a little 10mm
diameter magnetic washer-type thing that clamped onto the hub of the
inserted MD supposedly to spin it, that came out/loose with the last
successful MD I put in there...) I had the puppy since mid-1994. It was
I use my Sharp MD-SR60 to record MP3 streams or real audio archives of radio
shows and stuff like that. Lately I've been recording from

I recommend it to anyone that wants to listen to the worst possible music

Well, despite not being in the game for very long (only really since
christmas), I have racked up quite a bit of MD equipment (JE640, MS701 that
stuffed it, MZR900, MD-C2H), and enjoy every aspect of it.
I mainly used MiniDiscs for on my laborious walks to school everyday, but
seen as though
Hello-
I was trying to see where you guys like to use you minidisc
players/recorders. Since this is the MD (and not mp3) mailing list.
I take my E60 and R50 on any trip that I take. Whether it's the beach, or

My youngest son has my Sony MZ-1 and sometimes records his band.
I mentioned this because he has my oldest son's Les Paul. Like you always
write below, he really loves Gibson
I just got a Sharp MT90 to record rehearsals and gigs for our steel
orchestra. I'm kinda slow so recording them, marking the tracks, and then
deleting the dead space helps in practicing at home. Haven't moved into CD
compilations yet.

The Ovation guitars that I've played didn't sound too bad. The
mandolins, leave a bit to be desired IMHO.

I never saw so many mandolins in one place at a time! You don't run into someone
everyday who plays one. I guess that's you in the picture.
