Eric Eduardo, and other Mac folks, I have a Mac G4 and have used the Xitel PC Link unit that came with the Sony MZR70. As with many things Macintosh, you plug it in and it works. I plugged in the Xitel to my Keyboard and that was it. I had my audio stream out The Mac should sense the USB

The USB Audio spec has no provision for transferring auxiliary data along with an audio stream. The spec needs to be extended here. There's no reason that an extended (or even new) spec for an MD recorder with native USB could not include track marks, titling, and faster than 1X transfer,

I believe there are daughter boards that you can buy to add a digital input to SB Live. Yes from Hoontech, I have one (DBIII) for my SBLive and it works perfectly well, one issue to note the output is 48khz not 44. www.hoontech.com they are very good value for money. Regards GC

First, you need an MD with a digital output. So far as I know, there are no portables with digital out, only digital in, therefore you will have to use a home MD deck. Then you need a sound card with a digital INPUT, many have only digital output. The setup I use is a Sony MDS-PC2 deck
