I don't like your chances much with that sort of camera, I have a Canon
A510 and close close ups are pretty hard. Perhaps there are some tips in
the operators manual.
The Canon is a good mid budget camera, easy to use and pumps out
reasonable quality pics.
Anyway I guess some of the photo buffs

If it's the car I thinking of, it used a shortened chassis of the 3 series,
and the rear axle from the previous model. Some said it handled better than
the regular 3, but didn't have the engine options.

Hendrik, the camera is my wife's Canon S-410. I've never used it before
'cause my tremor has been so bad for several years 'til recently that I
couldn't even HOLD it, much less use it. 'Gonna try it again 'cause it does
"worry" me to have sent out-of-focus photos to such a fine bunch of Mercedes
the 300se generator light is not coming on and there is no charging.
