Thanks. No that's not a Planishing hammer- sounds like a shrinking hammer.
Any auto body hammer with a smooth head can be used to planish. Some body
hammers are called Planishing but I'm not sure why.

I didn't have anything to do with the transplant part so I don't know for sure.
My friend tells me that the 560 is lighter and of course has more power. The 6
has an iron block whereas the 560 v8 is aluminum. Either way he put stouter
coil springs in the front, I guess to reduce dive.

I know that there is a screw that holds it up by the pivot of the emergency
brake pedal. As for the console side by the accelerator pedal, I think it just
snaps or fits in a recess in the metal brackets there. I don't recall there
being a fastener in that area.
