Or you could pull the radio and diagnose the wiring.
Maybe check at the antenna motor to see if you can jumper power to make that
work? Could be it gets power but isn't responding?

Nice. I had an 82 just like this I put over 200k on. With only 141k on the
clock it’s hardly broke in. Wonderful highway cruisers, like sitting on your
living room couch. Be a great commuter.

We had a 1987 190E/2.3 gasoline version.
It ran well and was quite mane
Fred and I have had 5 or 6 190Ds between us although I don't think either has
had an NA 2.5. I drove one with a 5spd once, its was pretty nice.
I had an auto 2.2l once and hated it, not as slow as a 240D but pretty pokey.
I'm anti-slushbox to begin with and that car didn't help my attitude.

I have no experience with chrome... I've heard there is a decent chrome
shop down in Asbury Park. I keep meaning to bring him an old hubcap or two
as a trail, but can't seem to make it down there.
I have a guy in Paterson who does excellent cad, zinc, and nickel work.
Its cheap enough that its no
