If the compressor is locking up, which it most likely is, it is cheaper to just
replace the whole unit. A compressor is about 400, plus install and charge.
It’s a r22 unit. A whole new 410 or whatever the new refrigerant is would be
about $660 or so.

Somewhere in a city near you is a shop that works on RV's. Remove the unit
and take it to them to sort out on the bench. Likely cost less that way and
end up with a unit that works. They should have parts in stock or get them
quickly to sort it out.

You call the issue I posted about the rv ac. I replaced the run capacitor and
same issue. Runs for 2-3 seconds then shuts off. I then decided to bypass the
klixon and see if it would stay running. Instead of shutting down the
compressor the whole unit shut off. I think it might have tripped the

If you guys remember Tarek, I bought his 1995 S500 coupe when UPS shipped him
off to mainland China.

I bought a lantern one time and when I opened the box the STENCH of cigarette
smoke was overpowering. I put the open box outside and soaked it in Windex.
Gloved up and pulled the lantern out, gave it a good wipe down with more Windex
and it finally didn't stink too bad
I found that liquid Windex removed cig residue and smell from used darkroom
equipment - it seems that all the used equipment I bought came from
smoker's darkrooms. Scrubbing with a brush or rag soaking wet with Windex
did the trick in one treatment.

them on dog pee. You can find them at any pet store. You really have to get the
spot soaking wet and let it sit for a while, just spraying the surface won't do

There was some clear coat damage on the front fenders and has been
addressed, rear bumper has crack & driver's seat is in need of
upholstery. Otherwise is an EXCELENT example of a low milage Mercedes
