If it runs on gas, it can run on propane ... 2 older Onan gensets that I
have are dual fuel carbs that can be switched. Make the conversion and hook
it to your propane tank. Fuel storage issues for gas go away.

IIRC the lighter sockets of the W114/W115, like old American iron, are fairly
deep
when compared to the newer cars like R107+. The lighter socket hardware, like
seat
belts, are 100% American in origin, but have been drifting. The _power_
sockets,
though, I believe retain the original depth.

as well. I have always assumed that it may be some sort of metric socket

Working on the house up north, that's going to get full spray foam insulation
to maximize efficiency. Eventually all new windows too. The guy next door has
