This S550 I got has a salvage title now. I could see where it would be
very costly to repair with new parts or even aftermarket, but it has
been quite doable with used parts and a few new ones, aside from the
effort and time involved with the chase. Once it's done the car will be

Yes, it's when the insurance company has determined that damage exceeds value
of the car and they buy it. They will then sell it on with a "Salvage" brand on
the title.
I guess it may also happen if you sell the car directly to a salvage dealer and
they resell it?

At least she kept the tool set.
I bought my elder son a big set of tools as I knew he would not buy it
for himself and I thought he should have it. I was visiting him and we
needed some tool and I asked where the tools were. He somewhat
sheepishly admitted that they had returned the tools and
"Does not currently run" has no meaning.
"Does not start" or "Starts but dies" or "Runs only in limp mode" is far
more descriptive.

I had a similar situation with my 2014 GK 250. BlueDef fluid heater

I have always found Google's navigation to be superior to Apple's, not even
considering traffic. Apple Maps was ridiculously bad early, and from what I've
seen it's still behind.

It’s there. If you look at the picture of the driver’s seat and dash, you can
see the stalk just below the oil pressure gauge and at the edge of the steering
wheel spoke on the left.
Rust on an R107 is a very bad thing. Anywhere. That driver’s door is a mess.
Rear bumper is definitely tweaked,
