My 04E500 wheel had a small ding on the inner flange and a crack. I looked into
some repair companies and they wanted over $100 to fix it. And these wheels are
like $30 at the knacker if you can find one.
I checked my local welding shop and they wouldn’t touch it because they had
been sued bef
There are shops that claim they can straigten a bent alloy wheel. I would
believe that the average tire shop would not have the equipment to be able to
do it.

Wheel straightening services will do aluminum.
Most of them charge three digits and up from what I understand.
I bought a 16" W210 wheel on eBay for something like $60 when I found
out one of the wheels on my just purchased (ten years ago) wagon was
cracked. Not seeing that kind of price today,
That makes me wonder if they fail often, eh?

True, but in this case it was more a matter of distance from the house and
getting a WiFi signal out to the buildings (from the house).
I haven’t done it yet, but at the Flagstaff house, even though it’s only about
40 feet or so between the structures, I’ll be doing point to point to get a

In this day and age there isn't much excuse for not having backup for your
wifi. It'd be far cheaper, long term, to put a UPS on the wifi router and cable
modem than to use cellular data for your cameras.
Is everybody's local Facebook page full of halfwits? Ours sure is. We had a

Hey guys, I’m in need of a rim (standard factory) for a 2004 E320. It’s my
niece’s car, and the tire shop won’t put a new tire on the old one. Somehow,
sometime (not likely by her) the inner flange got bent on that rim, and being
alloy they cannot be straightened.

Javelina, elk, deer, etc. The local deer population uses our backyard as a day
care center for some reason. The does come by with their fawns, leave them in
the back yard, and go off
Coyotes, racoons, coywolves, foxes, and perps.

I’ve seen motion detectors tied to sprinklers to keep vermin out of your yard.
That’s pretty much a “scorched Earth" approach.

It’s been in service for over a year now, and I’ve done nothing to it. Through
the management interface I can “scan” and see everything it does, as well as
define where it’s going to detect motion (or not.) Because it has an almost 360
degree view and it’s mounted on a wall about 16’ above grade
Do you find a need to clean the motion sensor?
I have LED floodlights with motion sensors outside the garage, and they have
developed the same problem that caused me to replace their incandescent
predecessors: I have to walk up in front of them, jump up and down and wave my
arms to get them to
The one I have on the courtyard is this one, integrated with LED floodlights:

Works great! I chose it mainly because I wanted to be able to have on-demand
lighting whenever someone comes out of the house or garage at ni
Yeah ideally you'd want a wide-angle motion sensor and then a camera that could
automatically track and zoom on the moving object. Those are probably expensive
though.

And is it just something with the camera or does it look like the headlights

You need a PTZ camera with motion detection. That’s one in the little “dome”

you from finding a camera that could cover that large of an area. I’ve done it
