Short version: My A/C compressor wasn't engaging when told to by the ACC pushbutton unit, and testing seemed to narrow it down to the Klima relay, although readings from several sensors were also suspect. I took the gamble and swapped in a new relay ($120 from Rusty) and now everything's fine. Y

OK, it's on its way to you, Jim. Good thing you have the SDL to test it in. (Assuming the specs are the same for the Klima in the 603 engine regardless of chassis---I guess that isn't a very safe assumption, knowing Ma Benz's prediliction for subtle differences in parts that one would think
