That actually seems low to me, should be able to get low to mid 20's The EPA estimates for an 86 300E are 16 city and 20 highway. I can rarely get as high as the EPA estimates - even with the new revised numbers. So, should I really expect 15 or so in town and less than 20 on the highway?

I get a little better than the EPA estimate on teh TE -- 18 or so in town (although it's rarely driven in real city traffic) and 21-24 on the highway. You should do better, higher gearing on the TE. Peter On Jul 24, 2008, at 8:20 AM, Donald Snook wrote: The EPA estimates for an 86 300E

The 300 does alright on the open road but sucks around town, I get about 14-15L/100ks around town and 10-12 cruising at 110kmh but it should be a little better than that, however the engine has done a lot of work and may need to see a doctor. As the parts wear the mileage will decrease.

Here in Oregon, if someone buys a car with an Oregon title, all that person has to do is to send a certified letter to the last known address of the previous owner. If it comes back undeliverable, DMB will grant a title. In WA it's the same, though it works for other state titles as well.
