Every winter (I, of course, use that term loosly by back east brothers) my drivers door becomes difficult to close. I almost have to slam it shut when temps get below 50 or so. Try a shot of spray lube in the latch mechanism. Or it could just be out of adjustment. -- Jim

Most likely the striker plate is out of adjustment (or the door has sagged a bit on the hinges). I would recommend having someone with the correct tool adjust the striker, it can be a real PITA without it. Lubricate the latch assembly as well, I think white lithium grease is the correct
