I let the wood stove go out almost two months ago. I did run the wal mount AC
one day in early June which is surprising for us, we don't usually use it
before July.
We were in Savannah last week, good AC was critical. I can't imagine living
there...

If the AC is running at some point in the day and humidity under
control, I can sleep fine at 72.
Weekdays, with time of use billing (they jack the rate up 50% from 2-7p
weekdays, and I assume that means Independence Day too) I run it at 68
from 6-8am, which dehumidifies like crazy, then 72 unti

Maybe I should try having the fan run constant to keep the air circulating.

Our Honeywell "Round" has a nice "OFF" setting that I find suitable. (No A/C.)

We have the programmable T-stat set to 80 during the day, and 74 at night.
When it's over about 95F out, I set the fan to constant - keeps the house
comfortable as long as you don't wear a shirt. All the ceiling fans are on
also.

I use a branded (smart) thermostat by Lennox on the Florida house, which is
kept at a constant 74F with AC because Mrs. Dan is “always hot”. When she’s out
of the house I turn it up to 76F, which is more than comfortable for me. If

Just curious what do the rest of you keep your thermostat set during the
