Yours is more elegant than mine, with the swivel socket and epoxy. Might have to make one like yours. However, mine had a cost of $0, since I had the 1/4" drive set already. I've not felt a need for the swivel - with both a long and short extension to get the ratchet end beyond the manifold. On Sa

I took a 6mm Allen wrench, cut a short section of it off with a Dremel, and epoxied it into the below socket. After that I just got a nice and long 1/4" drive extension... works *great* on my 2.5T. Haven't used it on my '87 300TD yet. See pictures for finished product. Craftsman Socket Item
