You may remember a couple weeks ago I 'fixed' my cruise control. During
a test drive, on a long steep downhill, she stopped responding to CC
stalk inputs and kept accelerating. I stepped on the brakes, thinking
that would cancel the tempomat, but when I let off the car picked up

ALDA. I was turning left out of a driveway, across two lanes of traffic

the plastic balljoints only postpones the inevitable.

You CAN access every bit of the linkage with the manifold in situ, but
patience is required. I've fiddled with these items far more times
than I care to recall. I used epoxy to fix the plastic ball joints on
the sliding linkage between the IP and CC servo bracket.
