First of all, try identifying the hose part numbers. I think these are correct, but you need to verify: Upper hose: 1155012182 (about $USD 30 from Mercedes) Lower hose: 1155012282 (about $USD 50 from Mercedes) You’ve got what appears to be a bunch of little molded hoses for the heater circuit:

Years ago, I was ripped off big time by a VW dealer on a repair. I wrote to Volkswagen of America. They wrote back about how all the dealers were independent businessmen, etc., and they had no way to discipline or even influence the dealers' ways of doing things. Sorry Charlie, you got screwed.
