i'm familiar with the conditions that lead to condensation; in case
i wasn't clear enough earlier, we're talking a relatively new occurrence
in this car that goes far beyond mere normal condensation. the buildup
is enough that you can't see

sorry if i wasn't clear enough; this isn't occurring when i shut the
engine off, but only after i shut the A/C off while the car is still
running, and it isn't specific to any type of weather. (not that we're
likely to have cool damp weather where i'd have the A/C on here in the

yes, i'd expect *some* vapor, but not enough that it were to cloud
the windshield to total opaqueness... and it didn't behave this way over
the last few years; this is a relatively new quirk.
and no, the AC isn't blowing through the defroster vents (unless, of

Consider this...you have warm moist air inside your car. When it gets near
something cold, the moisture in the air changes state from a gas, water
vapor, to a liquid, water. You have seen this on the outside of a glass of
ice water. If the warm air inside the car is circulated through the

i've got a curious symptom that i'm hoping someone can point me to
the cause of:
lately, anytime i shut off the A/C after using it while driving,
moisture vapor becoming condensation blowing onto the windshield becomes
bad enough as to impede visibility. any ideas as to what thi
