In thinking about getting a set of extra rims for winter tires for our
1982 240D/3.0, I remembered I still have the two extra rims from our 1972
220D/8.
In looking at them recently, I found they are Mercedes part number
115 400 13 02 and are 5.5 J 14.

We had a tubular steel lawn chair on our patio which collected water over
the summer. When Shirley moved it recently, the now-rusty water spilled
out and left some stains.

Coming home this evening, I noticed that regular gas jumped 4 cents from
$3.059 to $3.099 and that diesel jumped 14 cents from $3.409 to $3.549.
With that, I'd be better off driving a gas car that got better than 20 mpg
than our diesel.
