first I open a new template and put in the parameters, and save it but when
I try to upload it, it does not I get a message asking me to put a valid

Now it works. Thank you all for your help. I was trying to upload
*.rpttemplate file and it wasn't working but when I created and uploaded an
*.rptdesign it works without any other problem.

Just to give an approximate interest amount i calculated with 31 days.
There are 2 ways of interest calculations here. But i think it will be over
kill on mifos to use the first option and i prefer to use 2nd option.
However, both gives same interest value.

Mifos does not calculate the interest on the outstanding balance of a loan
at the end of the loan schedule tenure, how is it being currently dealt *by
other customers.
*I'm aware of rescheduling and closing a loan, is there any other option
other than these to charge interest on over due amount

I compared the report output with couple of reports and found there is a
mismatch of Loan disbursed and principal outstanding for the following
reports. On detail analysis we found that loans which are in Active in-Bad
standing state are not considered in Balance outstanding, Loan officer

Micro finance segment is an un-organized industry. Collating the customers
data in a single go is not possible with MFI.
