That's the bit I don't get - Emulating the call as MD does it, worked, even

etc) for many years as the basis for my mail system. Recently, I started
receiving a lot of the empty msoffice documents with macro viruses, which
clamscan doesn't detect at all. So I decided to grab a licence

From time to time spamassassin, clamav and MIMEDefang stop working
without any hints in the logfiles.
After all I started using monit. No proplems with spamassassin and

I just want to thank everyone on this list that helped with my upgrade.
I've successfully updated MD 2.28 to 2.45 and SA 2.43 to SA 3.0.
Most of my problems centered around an old version of MakeMaker (caused
problem compiling SA 2.64), a failed MIMEDefang module detection (Perl
module MIME
called fame and then does
nothing. Equally strange. Searching Google groups for these errors
doesn't yield any help.
So, trying to figure out something else productive I can do while I work
on the above problems, I then update all the required MIMEDefang Perl
modules using CPAN which works
Just tried to update to the new MIMEDEFANG 2.45 but after updating
