3rd Tuesday of the month we have invited state legislators to our monthly
meeting to discuss the recent property re-assessments. This meeting is to
offer up ideas to better control the assessors from inflating the value of
property to increase tax revenue without an actual tax increase being
July 14th @ 7 PM Cox North in the Fountain Plaza Room. Enter on the cox
college side on Jefferson. If you are or know of property owners who might
be upset at the latest property assessments please invite them to discuss
this issue with our local state representatives.
