Static linking of Sybase::DBlib to mod_perl?

2000-01-27 Thread Thomas Corte
ule Sybase::DBlib in @INC I wonder why perl still looks for a loadable object here. Is it possible at all to link the sybase stuff into httpd? Or will I have to buy more recent PIC-compiled client libraries? Any help would be appreciated. _____ Thomas Corte [EMAIL PROTECTED]

. As a result, sybase stuff is statically linked into my perl binary right now. However, my perl installation tree also includes /opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.005/PA-RISC1.1/auto/Sybase/DBlib/DBlib.a, which (I assume) has to be linked into my httpd somehow. _ Thomas Corte [EMAIL PROTECTED]

2000-01-24 Thread Thomas Corte
Hi, I am about to install apache 1.3.11 and wondering whether the "old" mod_perl 1.21 will work with this new apache version, because e.g. mod_ssl has already been updated. Or should I wait for mod_perl 1.22? _____ Thomas Corte [EMAIL PROTECTED]
