I have set up Apache/1.3.20 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.8.4 OpenSSL/0.9.6a.
The server is running corectly.

Which version of RedHat are you using? If it is 7.0 or 7.1, you'll have
conflicts as openssl 0.9.6 is "built in". Also, the latest Apache is 1.3.20
and mod_ssl is 2.8.4. You can get these from the "Rawhide" site of RedHat
(eg
