Dear Scott and Mopo. - there isno problem on MOPO. Mopo has been freedom for

and thats why it will survive to 10 and longer. Since ive been on Mopo Ive seen
some nice discussions, some rants about who screwed who... If You all think

Dear Scott,
So sorry you're going through this. I think it's growing pains even after you've had a successful list for quite a while.
It's been a terrible month. Although I do not agree with Tom's feelings about Eugene, I do think that your list is going quite well.

Agreed, I like Mopo the way it is and appreciate all of Scott's work. I
come here to read about posters, period. If I want to talk politics or
hear off color jokes etc, I'll go talk to someone in the real world. I
for one applaud Scott's efforts to keep this list on-topic.

Dear Phillip,
While I agree Ebay can be a pain, I don't think there is
anyone at this pointthat can match Bruce's auctions in many areas.
Most importantly I think his weekly auctions give "all collectors" the
chance to bid on items and win, not just collectors with money. Bruce's auctions
With all the schturm and drang lately, it might be helpful to focus on the time of year. People get depressed, angry, anxious, guilty and try very hard to maintain the homeostasis right around now.
I trust it will pass after the new year. . . . At least that's what I tell my patients.

Hey all,
I have talked this over with a few other members and this
charity auction is a go.
I haven't decided on what charity(s) to donate to yet but
am leaning towards
one for children and one for animals.
If anyone would like to Donate please let me know.
Movie memorabillia and money
Why would this not be on eBay -- where possibly 200,000 TIMES more people would actually see it.
Don't they have a who charity auction section?
Evan.

Amanda,
Glad to see this wonderful idea getting the thread of

excited to see what our friends and fellow collectors
come up with for donations. I imagine an array as
diverse and impressive as our fellow hobbyists, and
look forward to seeing this
I'll donate something.

Cinema Arts will come up with something.
Have we heard from JRS on this yet and MoPoBid's involvement?
Personally, I favour MoPoBid as the venue over eBay.

Dear Scott,
First, a spineless, off-list attack is as wimpy and whiney are it gets.
As you know, I am one of the original handful of people that has been here
from day one. Beleive me, the good days and years have far outnumbered the
bad. And, all of the good is due to your efforts and support.
Ditto from this MOPO member!

Certain topics and people deserve unlimited discussion on MoPo. This "Stan" deserves zero time on MoPo and do not let him get you angry. He was silent on MoPo for a long time and now wants time. He does not deserve one more word here. I hope everyone gives him the silent treatment he has
The only article about

This has been a lively few days. I saw Philipp's post immediately
after successfully bidding on a lot in the Heritage auction. My husband
was sick on Thursday and was safely sleeping (I thought) when Heritage
called me. All of a sudden he says, How much? and I reminded him that
