If the buyer would know the slightest bit about movie material he/she would
not have placed the bid, so i quess the buyer just likes the frame and wants
to spend 250 on it. I quess it's up to them.
I can imagine a rookie falling for a portal publication, but if you bid on
this and think it is

Hi,
We are looking for anything on the WB short, SONS OF
LIBERTY (1939) with Claude Rains. Our client wants to buy it but if
someone has something and doesn't want to sell it, he would also rent
or borrow it for an exhibition he is having. Thanks!

honest and forthright about them and the buyer knew what they were

I agree that one should not contact other people's bidders -- unless there is a
clear case of fraud being commited against those bidders by the seller. Then I
think that if we notice what's going down and just stand by and say nothing
that we are as culpable as those who watch any other
Hi all
I was under the impression that any of us can be thrown off ebay precisely
for contacting a buyer and warning him about something like this.

Portal put this style out if they actually did. Yes, the size is like a

these reproductions pop up. I can't begin to believe this seller
Just visited the AR site and noted that someone
brought in some 1930s/1940s Japanese movie posters...in English!
Very interesting. From the looks of them, they were
probably meant to promote the showing of Japanese propaganda films overseas in
English-speaking countries in the years before
Evening everyone,
Just curious as to what people's vote would be for
1) Great movie, Bad poster
Two that immediately come to mind are The Godfather and The Shining.
2) Bad movie, Great poster
Once again, two that come to mind are Bullitt and Barbarella

One of our Mopo members just sent me this email, which confirms what I wrote

I believe it is a violation of eBay policy to contact any member with

Just to make it simple, let's stick to one sheets
(because, in some of these cases, the one sheet is a stinker but there is at
least a B style half sheet or some other size which is great). The
following one sheets are ones which I think are pretty dreadful:
WIZARD OF OZ
CASABLANCA

My goodness, it's taken me a while to get through posts.
I had no idea Jackson's next project was 'The Lovely Bones' .. how wonderful
and how remiss of me not to have read something of this previously! I
really loved the book.

Most obvious, to me, is Citizen Kane. The original release posters are
awful. (Tagline: It's Terrific!)
A lot of the great Warners movies of the 40s have pretty blah posters. Can't
come up with a title off-hand.
Btw, I actually think Bullitt is a pretty good movie, even if it does have

Now Ebay is making it hard to even pay them.
They are so fat they can't even swallow my monthly payment!
I got an alert that my account was overdue and would be shut down.
