i agree, tom.. but seriously... who is this guy to be insulting and

here's just a brief summary of this hack:
Mary Pickford was an Academy Award-winning
but Jeff, wait a second.. yes, she was a founding mother, but have
you ever seen her films..
she was a hack actress
now I do think that her Award for being a founding mother is deserved
for what it is..
but as hacks go, she was-a-hacking
not quite as much of a hack as William Shatner maybe..
I need to know the definition of a hack as we are talking silent
films here. Is overacting considered being a
hack? I just figured the presence of overacting/sentimentality was
the rule of the day in silent films. I can hear
the directors shouting through their megaphones, Once again, with

I think he's brilliant in his own way.
I always thought of 'hacks' as those who were unaccomplished due to
lack of talent. Now some fail forward in Hollywood
as in any business regardless of their lacking talent, but whether
you like Shatner or not,

And I don't think Fairbanks and Pickford are comparable to Brad Pitt
and Angelina Jolie. Fairbanks and Pickford were bigger
than Brangelina.
