We've noticed that there is a ton of interventions available for reading but not many for math. How your district is deciding which kids need interventions sounds a lot like how my district decides for reading. Yes, it is very possible for several students in your class to have individual plans.

We have two regular ed teachers on our SAT - one primary teacher and one intermediate teacher. The Special Ed teacher is the one who organizes things so we consider her in charge during the meetings. Actually, almost everyone at the meeting has a job - similar to cooperative learning groups. _

I didn't realize that the benchmarks set for DIBELS are only at the 35%ile. I wonder why they wouldn't set them higher than that because they seem kind of low to me. Does anyone know what the 50%ile is for the end of the year benchmarks for 4th and 5th grades? _
