Does anyone else think that fall migration has been un-exciting? Generally
speaking? Did we HAVE a warbler migration? Other than early posts from along
Lake Superior, I don't remember hearing much from other areas. I certainly
didn't have anything to report from along the Mississippi River,
I am in Andover, MN and I agree! I have seen very little migratory birds this
year!

Does anyone else think that fall migration has been un-exciting?
The last couple years we have had very poor migrations here in Eastern SD. We
could only turn green with envy as we read of all the sightings in Minnesota.
This fall has been wonderful here. Evidently the waves came a few miles further
west this fall.

I consider this fall's migration to be steady and consistent in Carver County.
There were not a lot of exceptionally high count warbler days(in terms of
numbers of particular species), but over the course of the fall migration total
counts of species ended up to be fairly normal to above
I'm not in a strong position to concur, because I've been far less able to
hit the trail than in other years, but it does seem that the birds spread
out over the landscape more, and offered fewer incidents of concentrated
fall-outs. It might also be that we're more inclined to share reports when
