found, but at this point it looks like it has left.

It was seen at 11:30am in our yard in Zumbrota at the corner of West 3rd
Street
, on the corner of Mill St and
W 3rd St. It's the only house in the area with a white fence on the roof
(and at present, a dozen birders around it). We're about an hour from the
cities, 25 minutes from Rochester, and 15 minutes from Cannon Falls.

KING RAIL UPDATE: As far as I know, it's still here. I tried to locate it
after getting the kids to bed, but it was too dark and I couldn't find it
(when cautiously looking from a distance). Anyone who was here late

Nine-mile Creek (just west of 35W in Bloomington) at 7:30am this Saturday
(6/6), so if anyone is interested please email me -- there will be a limit
of about 12. It will last about 2-3 hours on the trails

Just today for the first time this year I have Tennessee Warblers
singing all around my neighborhood in Fridley. It now sounds like
spring here. Hopefully there's more migrants still coming this year.

I took a walk in the rain today at at Woodlake nature center hoping to
find the Northern Parula. I was unsuccessful in finding it, but I did
come across lots of PALM WARBLERS, several BLACK AND WHITE, 2 CHESTNUT
SIDED (one of my favorites!), and of course, hundreds of YELLOW RUMPED.
Today, while driving on Hwy 169, between MM180 and MM200 (south of Mil
Lacs), I came across what I'm quite sure was a Chukar feeding along the
roadside. I turned around and got a good look at it from the vehicle as
well as a picture. When I first saw it, I thought it must have been a
