I live in a condo association on the edge of a partially wooded wetland. A
neighbor's friend recently put up a Wood Duck house on a tree. There is no
predator guard and the tree is within easy reach of other tree trunks for
predators to obtain access.

I would like to travel to Costa Rica for birds and all other manner of

A Baltimore Oriole just came to my feeder looking for his grape jelly. I
quickly put some out and he returned within minutes to dine. Good memory and
internal GIS system to take him to this tiny dish.

Thanks to those who have responded. The non-scientific consensus seems to be
that yes, there is a surprising absence of hummingbird sitings this season. One
person suggested the possibility that global climate change has sent them
further north.

My hummingbird feeder has typically had revolving-door business. Not this year.
I can count on both hands the number of visits I've had all summer. I live in
St. Louis Park.
