Well that’s confusing.
I called the number and the guy who answered said there is NO replacement
program.
He said there was misinformation put out on the internet the last 48 hours.
I quoted to him the statement below and he didn't have much to say other than
repeating that is incorrect.

Several years ago as a moderately experienced birder, I discovered a
Bell's vireo in Cottage Grove and reported it to mou-net with detailed

I cannot explain how I was utterly wrong about my report of the Bell's

clear. The MOU editor kindly forwarded the RBA reports in question to me
and there was my name, plain as day. I am completely at a loss. Maybe it

To add to the urban raptor stories...
There is a broad-winged hawk nest next to the street in our cul-de-sac
(Britton Ln) in Wayzata. There has been a broadwing in the neighborhood
for a last couple of years but this is the first year I've seen the
nest. I watched some nest building last spring.
This issue keeps coming up over and over every year and I'll bet most of
us are tired of it. New birders keep getting intimated instead of
supported as they should be and seasoned birders keep getting annoyed at
the volume of what they consider trivial junk email and they should be.

the classic version of the song but the one overhead was singing its own
variation--a

As I was getting in my car this morning, I was greeted with a very loud
bird song I hadn't heard before.
Then got close range looks at a Carolina wren. New yard and MN bird.
The only other time I had seen a Carolina wren was with my brother in
Nashville many years ago.

The Lake Byllesby little blue heron was very easy to see last evening
