between 35W and Cedar this week, that's probably an accurate statement. The
important thing to keep in mind - as Michael Atherton pointed out - is that

Energy used to remove shoes when requested until Ed Kohler started
reporting shoes in more dangerous areas of South Minneapolis.

Not surprisingly, the alley the shoes are in is also covered with graffiti.
By the way, I really will shut up about this once the problem is resolved. I
define resolved as having a reporting system in place that manages to get
the shoes removed in a timely manner throughout the city.

economist (in Chicago I think?) who has shown that no community comes out
ahead economically when they invest in a stadium, at least

And of course, if we don't like it the architect and the contractor will
give us our money back, right?
What if it ends up being a BASE (Building, Antenna, Span, Earth)jumping
area
or a suicide
understand (and that the media can regurgitate) that we're taking a hit
on this deal.
In the end, I have to hedge toward fiscal conservatism. Without real numbers
that I can understand, there is no way that I can justify spending public
money to build a stadium.
