Roger,
Well, congratulations, and thank you... It looks like you have
discovered a bug in the PCFMessageAgent class, and the good news is that
it's one that's easily fixed. You're right to observe that a PCF
command operating on a wildcard object name can potentially result in a
mixture of
Vote me a NO on this. Bear in mind that it is summer holiday season. I
agree that there is likely a need for additional LISTOWNER's to be able to
deal with problems, but I think the listserv group is easier to deal with,
and it's commercial free!

Also, supporting the list like this is a big commitment, often under-estimated, and
the migration may be painful, especially for the infrequent users. Do we really have
enough reasons to move off this one?

Title: RE: Moving the list server?
Just my 2 cents worth, I don't think I've seen anything that would justify a move, just a few annoyances, and this listserv seems to otherwise work pretty well. It didn't take me too long to hit my delete key a few times during the recent disturbance.
Peter,
Here
is Jim's response: "If you perform DISPLAY CLUSQMGR(qmgr name) ALL it will show
you all theWMQ cluster information about a specific queue manager.
In this case it appears that something has removed the information in the
Cluster parameter which tells the queue manager that it

that same command from any other Qmgr in the Cluster...
as far
as I remember a Qmgr will never see itself as a Cluster QMGR via MQSC,
you
should do a DIS CLUSQMGR(NYKYCPR4) ALL on any QMGR in the cluster other then
NYKYCPR4 itself.

Michael,
We
often use MQSC on the local QMgr and can see the cluster information.
Anyway, all of our tools show the QMgr is no longer in the cluster, no matter
which system we run them from. It is almost as if the repository is not
retaining the information about the new QMgr.
Thanks,
Michael,
CLuster qmgrs DO see themselves as cluster members even in MQSC...
Lynn,

When you display the attributes of these channels, I believe you
I personally don't think that the move is justified at this moment...

So, has the problem been permanently solved with the o-u-t o-f o-f-f-i-c-e
m-e-s-s-a-g-e-s? I added the dashes in case the list serve has some filter
pulling messages with those words. Whenever I set my email to say I was
away, I would always suspend my subscription while I was gone to not annoy
I concur. I think the list needs to stay as-is.

What I do if I setup an out of office reply is to define an exception
saying not to send this reply to internet addresses. If you do want this
reply sent to others outside your company, you could also setup an
exception to not send this specifically to messages coming from the
MQSeries list.
Peter,
I have two subscriptions going. One (on yahoo) receives the daily digests,
so I can refer back to them for a few days, and of course the storage is now
virtually unlimited; I leave this always receiving. The other account is my

You know, that got me thinking. Setting up a Gmail account (1 GIG free email
storage) would be worth it just so you could keep all your listserve
messages basically forever and have an awesome search tool be able to
quickly search all of them.
