Title: RE: Web Server
Shall it be possible in the future to use our beloved MSX
machines as
webservers for usage like the 'MSX SERVER'?
Of course. Using a MSX as Web Server is just one of the many
applications
you can do using TCP/IP and UZIX.
It would be nice if someone could
Hello,
I was looking for some info on how to change my emailaddress with msx@stack
and noticed that the section about the mailinglist in the faq is a bit out
of date.
The link MSX MAILINGLIST INFO is dead, probably because Wiebe no longer
maintains the list.
Maybe someone can correct this.

I've also been searching for those specifications, but never found them.

*Sigh* this isn't the most clear discussion I heard of... Definitely not.
First, the one is wrong, then the other is good, but it is wrong...
Rhaaa!!!
Sorry about this, but when Werner mentioned this problem, I suggested
something because I thought it to be logical. When I made the cable, I
Richard states that the correct is the DIN5 (1-13 and 2-12).
In my first mail in only stated, that its not correct to connect MSX pins
1-3 (which are inputs only) to PC pin 10,12,13 (which are also inputs only)
and to connect MSX pins 6-8 (outputs) to PC pins 2-4 (also outputs). So i

After studing the DATAX page, I think (as mentioned in my previous mail)
the correct version is RECV DIN5 (1-12, 2-13).
I was wrong!!!
Tonight a made the 10 wires cable I spoke of earlier and wrote the protocol
for the msx (assembler) and the pc (c++). When I was debugging them I found

People, I discovered a flaw in the JoyNet specification.
I discovered another one. In the section about connecting a MSX to a PC
there is something like this:
MSX PC
1 /FORWARD (IN)--13 SEL (IN)
2 /BACK (IN)--12 PE (IN)
3 /LEFT
I don't know if it's useful, but I found it on my harddisk when I was
cleaning it up. It's a discription about how to connect a 24 pins FDD (I
didn't know that existed) to a MSX.
24 pins --- 34 pins
1- +5v --- n.c.
2- +5v --- n.c.
3- n.c.
4- +5v

30 pins SIMM's aren't the problem, the original 41464 DRAM chips are!!
But I think that's not the only problem, the video RAM chips, the CPU and
the VDP all get slightly warm. I think one of the logic IC's got broken

it didn't work (gr). I haven't yet discovered why. But because I used 5
