I've understood this and the in-depth explanation in your other mail, at
least I believe so. But mutt is able to use the Unicode character set for
displaying. So, input has to be sequences of 7-bit / 8-bit characters,
output can be the whole unicode char
the same configuration on another
machine, works fine against a dovecot imap service.

valid UTF-8, just that your editor doesn't produce the right binary
sequences for what you type.

Hi,
is there a convenient way to store multiple attachements into the same
path? If I tag all of them and then use ;+s mutt asks me for the
filename/path for each one, but I'd like to give just a path and mutt
should use the filenames as are in the mail.

Hi,
a long time ago I configured mutt to use firefox as browser when I
open an html attachment. Unfortunately I can't find the place anymore
and I'd like to change that back now. How does mutt determine which
browser to use for that?
