I dont believe new features are being developed for the mvpmc (at least not
by me). The cmyth is just the library that other people are using. There is
not auto sync of updates from one to the other.

It is because of the tuner checks that are enabled by default. You
either need to provide the sql details that I asked for or disable the tuner
channel check.
The tuner needs to match these types: MPEG, HDHOMERUN, OR DVB
