I haven't tried sync yet, but as I do try things I am updating it in my thread - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/mylifeorganized/wine%7Csort:date/mylifeorganized/wK32vgXO3Cw/NyzegabtIysJ. Also see the WineHQ link I have in my first post in that thread. he talks about getting sync t

As a workaround for no search.index in the help I am now using the OSX app iChm (https://github.com/robin/ichm) to open the help file. I am opening it directly from OSX from inside the MLO.app bundle/wineskin, but I'm sure there is a way to remap chms to call iChm somehow (just not a priority fo

[MLO] item text chopped when editing (Wine related?)

2013-05-27 Thread David Rees
I am seeing a problem where the item's text is chopped a character when I edit it. Even though there is plenty of room to the right. I had thought it was a DPI problem, but it happens even at 96 DPI. Note that I am running this under Winery on a OSX MacBook Retina so that could be problem, I wo

I think I have a fix for the blurry text on a Retina. In the Wineskin inside my MLO.app I changed the Screen Options to use "Virtual Desktop at 2880x1800" (which is Retina's true resolution). That seems to have fixed the blurriness. I'm using a DPI of 140, but it seems clear at most DPIs. d

To reiterate what Dwight said, the "Lock Period" Is only an editing tool -- not a property of the task. I agree that "recur one day after this is completed" should ignore the hour at which the task is completed and keep its original time parameters. The other thing that works differently between

[MLO] cloud sync mishandling completion time

2013-05-27 Thread Dwight Arthur
Cloud Sync will not propagate a changed value of "completion date time" if the completion status has not changed. Steps: 1. On Windows, create a repeating task "Parent" with advanced recurrence options set to recur when all subtasks are complete. 2. Create subtasks "Sub1" and "Sub2" 3. On Wind

Hi Dwight, I've sent an email to MLO support. As to the Lock period vs. recurrence pattern - this is something not described in the help file so I don't know what was the intent of the developers. As for me, when I use "day" recurrence, I would expect that the start and due time will not be cha

Hi, Pawel. I have the same results as you regarding Lock Period. I would agree with you that this is a bug, so you should report it to supp...@mylifeorganized.net My understanding of "Lock period" is that it does not lock start and due but rather lead time. If you create a simple (nonrecurring

[MLO] Daily recurring task loses time on completion - lock period doesn't work?

2013-05-27 Thread Pawel Bartuzi
I defined daily recurring task with times set (start: 17:00, due: 23:00). Recurrence is defined as "daily, regenerate new task 1 day after each task is completed, use time, lock period". I have two problems: - I cannot set "Lock period" from "Task Recurrence" dialog - every time I set it
