Customer has tested his site in Mysql 5.1 and we are running Mysql 4.1 .
His test works but over here we get:

How will i setup Mysql Replication btween two redhat 7.3/9.0 boxes. I want
the replication to happen through a Secure tunnel between these two. I am

I upgraded to BSD/OS 5.0 which has Mysql 3.23.49 and
suddenly NO databases are seen.

Previous mysql was installed using a tar ball in /usr/local/mysql. Now when

I corrected the core mysql tables (there was nothing in them)
Your root password for my
USually all the databases sets up fine BUT recently, I have
had to adjust databases to 0777 in order to get them to
work and change the ownership.
I prefer the more secure model of mysql.
