It would seem to me to make more sense at this time to first get MythTV viewing G2 galleries since most people will probably use the G2 web or java interface to setup the galleries since you have to go through the whole process of uploading pictures, etc. I just wanted to add a voice of

I made this simple php frontend to mythgallery a while ago. Just added a config file and translated the main page to english (most of it is still in swedish). If anyone is interested i can fix it up a bit and send it in. You need php gdlib installed and i dont think it looks that good in IE since
