what would be the advantage of this (or what is the advantage of
blackbird) over some other card (like the ones using bttv) ?

Thanks Dave.
But is the PVR150 actually well supported under mythtv? I thought I had read

and sound to display. This is a good sign. Though when using it within
MythTV it shows 480x480 rather then the 720x480 that my PVR-250 happily
shows

Jarod, any luck (or even time to try) running the 250 alongside the

To anyone who can help:
I'm trying to follow the steps outlined in Alfred Park's howto guide
(http://home.comcast.net/~alf_park/mythtv.html). Specifically, I'm to
the following steps:
cd ivtv/utils
wget http://hauppauge.lightpath.net/software/pvr250/pvr250_17_21288.exe
./ivtvfwextract.pl
Great.

Anyone have any experience about which way to go on this? The price
is fairly simular when you consider the 500 has two tuners. Any
advantages, gotchas to decide whether to buy two pvr150's or one
pvr500?
