I'm not a coder, but this looks more like a make error
than a configure error. Did you do something like
"--enable-directx" when you did ./configure? It's
trying to compile for a windows system (DirectX
audio). I don't think you want to do that for a SuSE
9.2 system.
Good luck!

I get a green line on the right side of my ABC HD recordings (720p) I
just used the playback overscan feature to hide it.
It's hard to overscan 1/4 of the image. It's not a small bar (I've seen
that green one, about 3-4 pixels wide), more like 300 pixels wide (can't
screenshot because it's XV).

You could rip the DVDs to an iso, using a non-myth tool then play them
using MythVideo & xine just as though they were regular DVDs.

Hi all,
Maybe I'm not reading this right (or something is buried in
doublespeak) but it looks like the VT1625 on the Commell LV-667T
doesn't actually take HDTV resolutions as input.
According to the Via site
http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/video-display/tv/vt1625/ the chip

To apply physician's logic here: then don't use the ebuild. :)
Seriously, for things this bleeding-edge, managed

I just got my PVR-500 (81-1, 81-2) working alongside a PVR-250 (81-0).
A couple of tips that I learned with the latest ivtv rpms from Axel's
"bleeding" section - Don't use the 2.6-11 kernel yet, as it didn't
have support for tuner #57 on the PVR-500s, but the 2.6-10 kernel did
just fine. After upgr

Does anyone know how this product works? Does it save DVDs as an ISO
file? If so can MythTV be setup in a similar fashion? I know we can
"rip" DVDs, but doesn't that make a DivX file or something? What
about an automatic integration with IMDB or whatever this product

Not sure if this helps - but when I got that kind of message (although
your log output looks a lot different to mine) it turned out that the
persmissions for the cache and the data directory were wrong.
Strangely I could record things and then watch them, but I couldn't
watch live tv.

Hi all!
I am currently running mythtv using an HD3000 with DVB using the 2.0
drivers from the pcHDTV site. I don't see an option in mythtv-setup
for SVideo input for this card (like I used to before switching to
DVB).
So my questions:
