Well, I got it to work, albeit with a 5 pound sledge. I discovered by deleting /dev/fd0 mythfrontend would go ahead and start. However, on reboot, /dev/fd0 reappears. So, I added "rm /dev/fd0" to my startup script. It's not pretty, but its working. I am very surprised nobody else seems to have
