Well, I got it to work, albeit with a 5 pound sledge. I discovered by
deleting /dev/fd0 mythfrontend would go ahead and start. However, on
reboot, /dev/fd0 reappears. So, I added rm /dev/fd0 to my startup
script. It's not pretty, but its working. I am very surprised nobody
else seems to have
I'm also having the same trouble with one of my channels. I record in
TS format, and have to change the audio track every time I change to
that particular channel. (All other channels work fine)

support - Xv works to watch DVB signal
The channels for which I'm not able to watch/record, the mplexid,
serviceid, atscrcid are all NULL.
