Just wanted to check if unicode is supported for mythvideo in list mode?
I am trying to watch some Chinese movies, and the characters show up
fine in Konqueror (using UTF-8 encoding), but show up in Mythvideo as
junk characters...
Anyone have any words of advice on how to make this work?

my new myth box. Before doing so I backed up most of my recordings using
nuvexport. They imported just fine on the new box by passing the sql
statements generated by nuvexport into the new mysql. My problem is that

I think this might be because you're using XvMC. You only get grey OSD

I've been using mvpmc on my mediamvp for awhile and it seems to be
working fine. Sometimes, however, the OSD seems to lose sync with the
TV (picture roll, distorted image) - this effect is most pronounced
when the picture is mostly black, which makes me think the sync pulse
signal off the mediamvp

DVB mpeg capture/recording), and in both cases the audio is quite out of

It is very important what card you have. The nvtv
driver and are meant for older cards. Compatibility
with newer cards isn't guaranteed, due to different
TV-out chips.
I have a GeForce 5200FX, and use the xvattr fix

The card I have is an nvidia.. I'm using the testing version of the ivtv
driver.
If it's important I can probably find the exact versions.
I'd rather use the nvtv application if I can get it to work, but if I have

I am using nuvexport (using ffmpeg) to write a movie out to vcd format.
The thing is, it didn't ask me about how to split the movie, and because
it is 3 hours long, I expected to have to split it into at least 2
pieces for vcd. The output file is currently 880MB and it is still
going.

I have around a 20% success rate for getting video when starting the
front end and going to live tv. Most of the time it just hangs in
black screen. The backend appears to be working, as I can view
